Gross margin by account October
Revenue and direct labor Last 6 months
A security company can grow revenue and lose money at the same time. Overtime, unbilled hours and underpriced contracts hide inside totals. Business Intelligence is being designed to show performance by account and site, built from the same hours and rates your operation already records.
Who uses it
What it is built to fix
Revenue hides weak contracts
Total revenue looks healthy while individual accounts run at thin or negative margin.
Overtime shows up after payroll
Labor cost overruns are discovered when the payroll report arrives, too late to adjust the schedule.
Reports take a weekend
Owners build performance reports by hand from schedules, timesheets and invoices.

Business Intelligence FAQ
Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.
Where does the data come from?
From records inside ORVATRIX: approved hours, schedules, contract rates and invoices. The quality of reporting depends on those records being kept current.
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. Business Intelligence is designed for operational and contract performance. Your accounting system remains the book of record. Integration options will be announced as they are confirmed.
What is the difference between revenue and gross margin here?
Revenue is what you bill. Gross margin is revenue minus direct costs such as officer wages and payroll burden. A contract can have high revenue and low gross margin.
